As a residential remodeler for over 35 years, I have never seen a market like we are now experiencing. Prices are rising 2 and 3 times a month from suppliers, fuel surcharges are putting delivery of materials almost out of question and labor is drooling at the mouth over the smallest of jobs just to stay busy.
I'm trying to read the trends and just can't seem to be able to use a "crystal ball" very well right now.
I hope after the upcoming election, attitudes will change and the business atmosphere will improve. I have seen a number of my colleagues go out of business within the last 2 years and it's very scary right now.
Any suggestions or predictions would be considered very seriously. Thank you.
