2001 K&BDN Competition to Close in July

Hackensack, NJ Only about two months remain for nominations to
be considered for the third annual “Industry Leadership Awards
Competition” the Kitchen & Bath Design News-sponsored awards
program aimed at recognizing leadership excellence among kitchen/
bath dealers, distributors, cabinet shops, sales reps and
manufacturers.

K&BDN’s 2001 “Industry Leadership Awards Competition” will
honor industry professionals for outstanding achievements in eight
categories that focus on skills in business management, marketing,
use of showrooms, industry/ community service, and related areas,
according to K&BDN publisher Eliot Sefrin.

July 6, and judging will take place later that same month, Sefrin
said. Award recipients will be profiled in the October issue of
K&BDN, and will receive article reprints and handsome display
plaques.

“As in the past two years, the goal of our 2001 competition is
to recognize the people and companies that epitomize what genuine
‘leadership’ is all about,” Sefrin stated.

“Our objective is to look beyond sales figures and design skills
the two most common areas involved in industry competitions and
