Copper Sky Design + Remodel
This East Atlanta bathroom packs all the modern amenities within its small footprint. Smart space planning allowed for a large shower with bench, 7-foot double vanity, and a private commode room. The materials were meticulously selected to keep with the original charm of the home. The custom-laid mosaic floor is truly one of a kind. The client was thrilled with the results and pleased that Copper Sky Design and Remodel could help them turn the misfortune of the tree damage into a positive outcome.

This design style is derived from history, specifically British Victorian 18th and 19th centuries. The historical settings offer a vivid conceptualization and beautiful exaggeration of technology. Steampunk design is rooted in science fiction; its imaginative, retro-meets-the-future approach has given birth to a unique aesthetic that will not be forgotten by any of its occupants. Instantly recognizable, steampunk relies heavily on the marriage of history and steam-powered machinery to create a slick look and feel in anything it touches.

This master bathroom presented a unique set of challenges. Tired and dated, the corner tub and builder-grade fixtures lacked character and functionality. The designers and technicians transformed this space, expanding the shower area, selecting tile and fixtures that are both simple and elegant, and adding features such as a custom linear drain and cultured stone niche that add functionality and sophistication. The tile surround for the soaking tub brightens the space, and the new vanities with matching quartz tops are both timeless and fashionable.

This second master suite needed to encompass a shower, soaking tub, toilet and vanity, without encroaching on the existing master bedroom or master closet. The team successfully created a floorplan to meet all expectations. The homeowner’s love for the modern farmhouse design style inspired the material selections featured in the remodel. The custom wire-brushed vanity cabinet was designed with an open base to showcase the continuation of the concrete tile under the vanity cabinet. The floor tile and wall tile were carried into the shower areas to unify the spaces, which visually increased the size of the room.
