The homeowners worked hard with the interior design team and, thus, created an amazing team that accomplished a project beyond their wildest dreams. From the textures of fabrics to the trim and tile work, to the beautiful cabinetry and colors throughout each room, this project was a delight to be a part of and one that Unger Builders would love to repeat in the future with another satisfied homeowner.

Normandy Remodeling
Hinsdale, Ill.

This family’s new home was stuck in 1985, needing a complete update. A new oak and iron staircase creates the modern style that’s evident as you open the front door. The kitchen, reimagined for better functionality, mixes cabinets and open hickory shelving along with a stunning double-height island. Adjoining the kitchen, a new luxe lounge features a fireplace with a textured tile wall. The new bar’s focal point is the gold-flecked granite with a leathered finish and waterfall edge. Bathrooms were modernized with new tile and vanities. The primary bathroom now boasts a soaking tub and large walk-in shower.

DD Ford Construction
Santa Barbara, Calif.

A former dilapidated mess of a structure with all the odds stacked against it was successfully salvaged and converted into a beautiful new dwelling. The design and build team set out to correct the flow of the interior floorplan, fix the exterior elevations, consider a new landscape plan and, ultimately, rebuild the home from the inside out. This oceanfront oasis has been returned to its former glory along the finest part of California’s central coast.
