Handy Hero Inc.
The owners of this 1980’s-era “Carpenter Cottage” style home tasked Handy Hero with accomplishing an improved flow, modernizing and creating a more open, inviting kitchen and bath, all while maintaining the original cottage feel. With this project, they were not only able to eliminate two unnecessary hallways and maze-like entry, but also create a smooth flow and add natural light through the home, all the while creating the clients’ dream kitchen and bath for their unique and active lifestyle.
Inver Grove Heights, Minn.
This St. Croix River retreat needed some help to live up to its surroundings. Removing inefficiencies in the master suite of this riverside vacation home was all it needed to feel larger, brighter and more peaceful. The goals were to alleviate having to share access to the main level bathroom by creating room for a separate powder bath in addition to a private master bath, maintaining sufficient closet space and allowing for more natural light. The retreat would be designed to match the relaxing and summery mood of the river while also adding luxurious details like heated floors and sophisticated finishes.
