The team had worked with this client previously, so there was already an understanding of their lifestyle and desire to incorporate their art collection. Working within the constraints inherent in a condo remodel presented some challenges, and great communication and teamwork were important to get everything the client wanted and needed. The design is bold yet cohesive, functional and detailed, and ultimately perfect for this client.

This 1949 Rambler home master suite addition and complete interior and exterior update is simply spectacular. The space plan reconfiguration of this existing home and the room addition over full basement gave the homeowners the necessary space needed in order to create their forever home. This project also features a complete and tasteful interior refresh and update of a classic 1949 Edina Rambler.

The already existing footprint of the first floor of this house needed to be modernized while keeping the integrity of the craftsman architecture. One of the architectural features to keep was the beautiful archways within the home.

Maintaining the dining room was a real treat for the team in this design. It was requested to have a place for the kids to do homework and store school essentials. Cubbies were designed within the island for easy storage along with a boot drop within the entrance.

Associates in Building and Design, ltd.
Fort Collins, Colo.

The clients sought Associates in Building and Design, ltd., desiring a full-house remodel. The project entailed expanding and reconfiguring areas within the home to make it more functional throughout. The homeowners desired a complete master bathroom, kitchen and laundry room, and opening up the space between the dining and TV room. To complete the home, interior doors, several windows, and flooring were replaced. The kitchen is now light, bright and flows into the living and dining areas. The laundry room is spacious and functional and continues with the aesthetic of the other areas in the home.
