The clients have a large, bustling family, multiple home-based businesses, and constant busyness in the house. They craved a spa-like retreat, and the master bathroom was the perfect place for it. The existing bathroom had enough space but was beige bland—plus very poorly lit and laid out. Reconfigurations turned the dark and clumsy layout into one in which everything found its place.

The room is now soaked in sunlight, which highlights deeply textural tiles; beautifully grained walnut cabinetry; and crisp, clean lines of granite and glass. A jetted, stone soaking tub elevates on a beautiful teak platform and takes pride of place, and the adjacent frameless glass shower surrounds a spacious and elegant steam shower beautifully clad with unique handcrafted tiles.
