After discussing a wish list with the homeowner, the team decided the best outcome would be an open and intimate covered porch off of the back of their house that seamlessly connected the interior and the outdoor living spaces. The main covered deck features a 32 foot open span which includes an outdoor kitchen and living space complete with outdoor TV, in ceiling heaters, and sound system. This led seamlessly out on to an open portion on the deck highlighted with a custom pergola and hanging chairs. Finally a double sided staircase leads down onto a private paver patio with fire pit shielded from neighbors view by decorative screens and a wall of arborvitae.
