DD Ford Construction
Santa Barbara, Calif. | ddford.com
Location: Montecito, Calif.
Originally conceptualized by a design team in the 1960s, the floorplan lacked circulation and common spaces. Due to a couple of ignored active plumbing leaks, years of deferred maintenance, and a fair share of poor construction details that truly let “the outdoors in”, the home was full of mold. The design and build team set out to correct the flow of the interior floorplan, fix the exterior elevations, consider a new landscape plan, and ultimately rebuild the home from the inside out.
A new entrance now welcomes the home’s visitors into the finely appointed three bedrooms and four. Upon arrival, time can be spent relaxing in luxury next to the fire within the paneled study, lounging in the beautiful family room and shared kitchen space overlooking the new lap pool, or gazing through the home’s new steel windows and door sat the spectacular views overlooking Butterfly Beach and the Santa Barbara Harbor. From sunrise to sunset, this property catches the finest glimpse of all that Santa Barbara has to offer.
