A beautiful and timeless restoration of a storied historic structure truly integrates the building, a multi-family residential structure, into the tree-lined block. A fresh application of materials and muted colors, restored juliet balconies, and new windows and full glass paneled doors seamlessly integrate the building back into the neighborhood. Returning it to the residential use, it once again contributes to the buzz and pedestrian activity of an urban center. An internal court was opened back to the sky flooding the interior spaces with natural light.

A fusion of indoor and outdoor living is what this client was imagining, somewhere their family could entertain, roast marshmallows and watch the game. This covered patio built off the back of the home showcases all the same amenities you can find inside: a flat screen TV, living area, dining space, and fireplace for warmth. The use of the gray natural stone, the stainless steel fireplace, and the dark stained wood ceiling aid in transforming this patio to a modern yet cozy space. The new addition is now a relaxing retreat that achieves the needs of the client’s sociable lifestyle.

An ugly and old front elevation received a much needed facelift. Brick parapet walls were added at the front entry and living room areas. The living room featured new windows with accent lighting and a masonry chimney. The entry area received a brick paver floor, a new front door and windows, and a gas lantern. New paint, landscaping, and board and batt siding completed the look and helped to tie all the spaces together.

Oro Valley, AZ

This exterior remodel gave new life to this once dated, dark and nonfunctional home with the use of new materials, added outdoor spaces and a more methodical design. The scope of work included new paint, brick pop-outs, a new driveway and driveway entrance, front courtyard with an outdoor fireplace, private patio, new garage door, landscaping, lighting, a metal roof, awning, gates, trellises, and metal accents. The revised material selections blend with the existing ranch style of the home, while also giving it a more modernized look. The completed project exceeded all expectations for the homeowners both aesthetically and functionally.
