Location: Washington, D.C. | Square footage: 6,641
Located in Cleveland Park, one of Washington, D.C.’s most desirable neighborhoods, the project included a top-to-bottom renovation and a two-story rear addition designed to match the home’s original 1917 Georgian architectural style. The addition expanded the kitchen and owner’s suite above, and it allowed for a larger en-suite bath while increasing the ceiling height on both levels.
The house now totals 6,641 square feet of living space with a vastly improved layout providing seven bedrooms, six full baths and two half-baths, an eat-in kitchen, plenty of entertaining space and a basement wine room. Relocating the main stair opened up the floor plan, increasing natural light and improving flow while new interior steel doors help maintain the open feel of the home.
