Anaheim Show Enhanced With New Features

Commerce, CA Exhibitors and attendees will be able to take
advantage of three special new features at the 2003 AWFS Fair,
scheduled for this summer, event sponsors announced.

The four-day, biennial trade show aimed at cabinet manufacturers
and shops, fabricators woodworkers and related industry
professionals will include a New Product Showcase and Awards
Program, a Safety Showcase, and a First-Time Exhibitors
Showcase.

The features have been incorporated into the event “to help
exhibitors capture the attention of thousands of Fair attendees,”
said the Association of Woodworking & Furnishings Suppliers,
the event’s sponsor.

The July 31-Aug. 3 trade show is scheduled for the Anaheim
Convention Center.

“We created these showcase programs to help attendees review
innovative products and services,” said Joan Kemp, chair of the
2003 AWFS Fair.

The New Product Showcase and Awards Program will feature
exhibitors’ new products and allow them to compete for industry
recognition awards, Kemp said. The New Product Awards Program now
encompasses the “Sequoia Awards,” previously a stand-alone award
recognizing environmental innovation in the industry. The Safety
Showcase recognizes the commitment of AWFS Fair exhibitors to
safety, while the First-Time Exhibitors Showcase gives new
exhibitors the opportunity to garner additional exposure at the
Fair.
