Roofinox tin-plated (Terne) Products
A range of tin-plated (Terne) products are produced by Roofinox to ensure long-term sustainability and corrosion-resistance for applications such as wall-cladding, flashing, rainware, interior design and virtually all forms of roofing applications. The materials can be a substitute for lead-coated copper, zinc and tin-zinc coated copper, Terne-coated materials, galvalume and lead. Originally developed to withstand harsh climate conditions found in Switzerland and Austria, Roofinox’s tin-plated (Terne) can be used in rural, urban and light industrial settings that can include historic, commercial and coastal environments. With exposure to the elements, the tin-plated (Terne) surface can be expected to develop a matte gray patina finish.
The tin-plated (Terne) consists of a layer of 100 percent tin covering a base of either a 439 or 316L stainless steel. With superior corrosion-resistance properties, these products are 100 percent recyclable, and are specifically developed and manufactured for roll forming and fabricating. Products are available in coil or sheet, and users can do their own forming or have it prefabricated by a Roofinox distributor.

Armstrong Ceilings’ WoodHaven Ceiling Planks
Convert plaster, popcorn ceilings or damaged drywall using Armstrong Ceilings’ WoodHaven Ceiling Planks for a prefinished, natural wood-grain look on the ceiling. Made of medium density fiberboard, the planks can also be used as a retrofit for ceiling grids. WoodHaven Planks can be installed on ceilings in three different ways: using WoodHaven Clips and Screws installed directly to exposed joists or with 1 1/2 in. drywall screws when installing the planks to drywall. More flexible installation or running planks parallel or diagonal to joists can be achieved with the company’s Easy Up system, which includes tracks and clips. An existing 15⁄16 in. suspended drop ceiling can incorporate the WoodHaven Planks with the Easy Up clips.
Designed to update the appearance of a ceiling without sacrificing ceiling height, the planks are maintenance free and resist humidity. Fourteen styles are offered, though certain finishes are only available in certain areas. The painted white and beadboard styles can also be used for wainscoting and backsplashes using adhesive for installation; the two styles offer sag resistance and can be painted to match any décor.
