Business technology and business software are offering new ways for remodelers and home improvement professionals to improve client experience and customer satisfaction. In what ways are you using software or technology to improve client experience?:

We offer a spectacular virtual design studio for our customers to use in helping them identify their favorite design elements for their beautiful new dream bath or shower project. But overall, we’ve found that our best results come from good old fashioned face to face customer interaction and hands on design/build processes, whether that happens in one of our three beautiful state-of-the-art showrooms located across the state, or in person, with our customers, at their home.

Rising costs for labor and building materials along with higher inflation on everything else is forcing remodelers and home pros to raise prices dramatically. Tell us about the most effective ways you are passing along these rising prices to your clients?:

When it comes to pricing, our philosophy is simple: focus on high quality workmanship and exceptional customer service. This improves repeat and referral business, which reduces advertising costs, which allows us to keep our prices more affordable. But in the end, we give all our customers a guaranteed price in writing, so there’s no worry about unforeseen price hikes at the completion of the job.

Supply shortages have required you to ask clients to go back and pick another finish or building material. What are your tips for handing these product trade-off conversations?:

We are careful to maintain product availability and we only offer those products we can obtain before the installation. However, on the rare occasion that a product becomes unavailable, we make sure to have a suitable alternative of equal or greater value so the customer agrees they are getting a better solution with a more desirable product.
