The COVID-19 pandemic changed homeowner interactions. What measures do you use to signal an extra level of care when working in or around a client’s home?

While working in the home, we practice social distancing, and we regularly clean and disinfect all “”high touch”” areas, so the customer is confident that we are providing an extra layer of sanitizing and disinfecting throughout the work space. When the job is completed, we perform a final disinfecting routine to leave the job site clean, hygienic, and ready for their use. I genuinely care about the health and well being of our customers, our installers, our design consultants, our office staff, and all their families. It’s important to protect everyone involved in the process.

Seamless communication technology is now both necessary and expected. How have you used new technology platforms to promote better customer communication and satisfaction?

To ensure customer confidence in the entire remodeling experience, we offer a virtual bathroom remodeling presentation, and we offer color and product selection by email or FaceTime phone calls, depending on the customer’s ability to participate. Overall, our job is to make sure we are helping the customer move forward while also helping them feel healthy, safe, and secure during the entire process. Remodeling your bathroom is extremely fun, and now we’ve added a layer of hygiene and safety for everyone involved in the process.

What was your message to clients with projects in progress in order to keep them happy and satisfied during the uncertainty of the stay-at-home period?

Our message is clear, we want to be sure our customers and our entire staff are healthy and free of symptoms on a daily basis. We also practice social distancing and alcohol disinfecting procedures to keep a safe working environment during the installation process. Thankfully, the majority of our installations are less than 3-5 days, so this has been relatively painless to accomplish! If our customer prefers to delay the initial design consultation or the installation, we happily adjust our schedule to accommodate their request. If our customer is exhibiting any symptoms of illness, fever, or general flu-like symptoms, we will arrange a delay of the design consultation or installation until we are able re-evaluate their condition. We are successfully helping customers build the bathroom of their dreams while also protecting the health and safety of our team and our customers. It has truly been a win-win for all of us, and we are very thankful for everyone involved with our company all these years.
