The best software that we are using is a visualization tool to help homeowners see the different colors and styles of siding look on their homes.

Rising costs for labor and building materials along with higher inflation on everything else is forcing remodelers and home pros to raise prices dramatically. Tell us about the most effective ways you are passing along these rising prices to your clients?:

When we give the homeowners our proposal, we give them 30 days at the prices quoted. We also post manufacturer increases on our facebook page, when we received the notification and when they take effect.

Supply shortages have required you to ask clients to go back and pick another finish or building material. What are your tips for handing these product trade-off conversations?:

We don’t “force” homeowners into making a decision. We are honest with the homeowners and give them the lead times, different options, or if a color is no longer being offered, etc. and they can make the decision of whats best for them. A lot of homeowners are willing to wait the long lead times for materials.
