BEMA Restructures Design Awards

Topeka, KS The Bath Enclosure Manufacturers Association (BEMA)
based here, announced a restructuring of its Ninth Annual Design
Awards competition to reflect the new time frame of the National
Glass Association’s trade show. GlassBuild America: The Glass,
Window & Door Expo, scheduled to take place September 13-15 at
the Atlanta World Congress Center, will be permanently moving to a
fall time frame as of 2005.

As a result, the BEMA Design Awards will now have a submission
deadline of July 5, 2005, with entries required to have been
installed between January 1, 2004 and June 30, 2005.

“This new time frame will allow the tradition of presenting the
winners in conjunction with BEMA’s Annual Membership to continue.
The Design Awards competition will continue to honor the best in
bathroom design and afford the winners the opportunity to accept
their awards in person,” said BEMA president Tom Wargel.

Winners will receive travel expenses of up to $600 to attend the
BEMA Annual Meeting and GlassBuild America, the association
noted.
