BSH Realigned Into CA-Based Corporation

Huntington Beach, CA BSH Home Appliances in the U.S. has
restructured its legal format into a corporation, and will now be
known as BSH Home Appliances Corp., representing three brands
Bosch, Thermador and Gaggenau the company announced.

The new corporation, headquartered here, said that the change in
legal format was prompted by its “exceptional growth” in North
America in recent years, through the integration of Gaggenau, the
acquisition of Thermador and the opening of a Bosch manufacturing
facility in New Bern, NC.

BSH Home Appliances Corp. is a subsidiary of the Munich,
Germany-based Bosch and Siemens Home Appliances Group.

With the restructuring, Frederick Hohage assumed the position of
chairman of the executive committee and CEO, while Reinhard Metzger
was promoted to president and COO of the new corporation. Guenther
Knoeckel transferred from Bosch and joined BSH as executive
v.p./finance.
In addition, Michael Rockstroh will serve as senior v.p./marketing
for all three brands, and Viktor Stehle will serve as senior v.p./
technical operations, New Bern. Bernie von der Lieth is senior
v.p./ sales for Bosch.
