Business technology and business software are offering new ways for remodelers and home improvement professionals to improve client experience and customer satisfaction. In what ways are you using software or technology to improve client experience?:

Cardinal Closets uses Moziak software to show clients how their project will look. We track all clients and their projects using software by ZeeRM. While we present most presentations face to face in our showroom, we use ZOOM to conduct virtual presentations when necessary.

Rising costs for labor and building materials along with higher inflation on everything else is forcing remodelers and home pros to raise prices dramatically. Tell us about the most effective ways you are passing along these rising prices to your clients?:

Cardinal Closets has monitored all of its costs and have adjusted prices accordingly. We let customers know that by placing a deposit now, they lock in their prices at that time. Our designers can also make customers aware of lower cost options if needed to make a project fit into a budget.

Supply shortages have required you to ask clients to go back and pick another finish or building material. What are your tips for handing these product trade-off conversations?:

Cardinal Closets has the most commonly used closet selections in stock. We have ordered more often and have projected sales out further than in the past to keep up our supply levels. We have communicated with clients when their selection is on back order or likely to be delayed. People are aware of the general supply chain issues and appreciate direct communication.
