A creative couple wanted a new kitchen with modern functionality that honored the original character of their 1920s Spanish-style home. The kitchen should stimulate their senses, express their diverse cultural interests and embody their independent spirits. A custom backsplash created by artists in New York shimmers with shades of violet, orange, copper mirror, mirror and apple green. The backsplash became a defining inspiration for all the kitchen’s colors, which evoke the home’s Spanish roots.
