CertainTeed
Developed specifically to provide vinyl-siding professionals an opportunity to share in the  stone masonry segment of the exterior cladding market, STONEfaçade from CertainTeed provides an architectural panelized stone cladding system, created with ease and speed of installation as key considerations. Each panel has a continuous fastening flange for screw-in-place attachment, and no mortar required. Panels are 8 inches high and come in 10-, 14- and 24-inch widths. STONEfaçade features a fully integrated rainscreen to avoid the issue of moisture accumulating in the wall cavity. The 3/8-inch stainless steel insert doubles as a reinforcement and creates space behind the panel for moisture to drain.
STONEfaçade panels deliver the look of old world masonry and are molded from natural stones individually selected and positioned to mimic hand-laid workmanship. The panels will cover 110 square feet without repeating a pattern. A hand-applied brushstroke technique helps capture tonal variations of natural stone. Four colors are available: Adirondack Snowfall incorporates tones of cool gray and off-white; Appalachian Twilight blends calming gray and subtle brown; Poncono Autumn incorporates variegated shades of brown, orange and yellow; and Harbor Sunset mixes burgundy and brown. A full array of accessories is available to complement STONEfaçade, including sills, corners, electrical and light boxes.

The following product received the most reader inquiries in the past month on QualifiedRemodeler.com:

Palram
Through Palram’s combined printing and manufacturing process, Mirrite PVC Outdoor Flooring looks like real wood but is low-maintenance PVC decking with scratch and stain resistance. The process starts with sourcing full-length wood boards that have been sustainably harvested from global lumber importers. Then, a digital reproduction of each board is made in a replication process, which captures subtle variations as well as the flaws in the wood boards. Mirrite is currently available in teak, American walnut, ipe and weathered ipe. The PVC outdoor flooring boards are printed on edges and top to bottom on the grooved and square edge options.  Being a technology company at heart, a team of industrial engineers and chemical scientists worked together—combining technologies from different areas of Palram—to develop MirShield, a highly protective shell that is resistant to stains, scratches and dings. It also stands up to common, everyday materials—like sunscreen, bug spray, charcoal fluid, citronella and more—that could stain other PVC or composite decking. Mirrite comes with a transferrable limited lifetime warranty, a 25-year warranty against stains and fading, and a two-year labor/replacement warranty.
