QR: Your team was able to achieve high rates of customer satisfaction during the pandemic, a time of greater scrutiny because clients were at home more. There were also supply-chain delays. What measures did your firm take to maintain client satisfaction?

Communication, Communication, Communication. Most people were understanding as long as you maintained communication throughout the way. We always looked for alternate vendors when products were in short supply, to see if we could source supplies elsewhere sooner.

QR: Firms with happier employees have higher levels of customer satisfaction. What are the top ways you are able to keep your employees happy and satisfied?

Yes, this is a small, family run business, so employees are treated like family! We trust, respect, and understand our employees and that goes a long way. We find that we receive the same in return.

QR:Purpose driven” companies, those that exist to effect change or take action on something bigger than their products or services, attract a younger, higher skilled employees who tend to be more engaged workers. Some firms connect their “purpose” to a written mission statement. Do you operate a purpose-driven organization? And in what ways does your firm extend itself to outside causes.

Yes, it is important that our employees like what they do, and it has meaning. We attract younger employees in a practical sense, because every skill you learn in construction, is a skill that you don’t have to pay someone else to do in your life! This saves money and opens doors to projects you might not have otherwise thought could be achievable.
