PLEASANTON, CALIF.—Simpson Strong-Tie announced that it will be making a $25,000 donation to assist in relief response and recovery efforts in the wake of the tornadoes and severe storms that struck Moore, Oklahoma City and Norman, Okla., in May. The donation will aid in providing food, shelter, emotional support and other assistance through the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. The company will also be matching its employees’ personal contributions to the Red Cross.

“We would like to extend our deepest sympathies to everyone who has been impacted by these disasters,” said Simpson Strong-Tie President Terry Kingsfather. “We hope that through the combined national support efforts, the affected areas in Oklahoma will be able to quickly recover and the communities are able to rebuild.”
