Festool Launches ‘Work App’ 

Festool announced availability of its Work App for iOS and Android devices. The Work App provides functional connectivity to Bluetooth-equipped Festool products across its range of cordless and corded tools, including batteries. The connectivity enables users to monitor product conditions, make adjustments in real-time and arrange for tool repairs if needed.  

“For tradespeople and enthusiasts who work with Festool’s Bluetooth-equipped tools the Work App meets users where they are providing additional functionality and support as they navigate use of our cordless and corded tools and batteries,” said Rick Bush, senior product marketing manager at Festool. “We’re excited to offer an App that complements many of our existing and soon-to-be launched tools with new features.”  

Now available in the U.S. and Canada, the Work App is compatible with Festool Bluetooth batteries, the CTC SYS I, the Planex Drywall Sander, the CT MIDI I and the TPC 18/4 QuadDrive Hammer Drill. With the Work App, users can create a seamless work experience. Key features include:  

• Connectivity: Whether in the workshop, on the jobsite or at home, the Work App offers a digital overview of your Bluetooth-enabled products, configure them according to your needs and quickly receive assistance for your specific tool application. 
• More Features, More Function: The Work App enables smart extensions to the Festool system. The app extends tool functionality with features such as adjustable LED lighting, left-handed mode, live data and transparency about tool status, last known location and software updates. Users can access step-by-step guides along with tips, tricks and tutorials on all Festool smart tools, user guidance when adding and connecting tools and detailed product information including tool overviews, functionalities and registrations.  
• One App, Many Capabilities: Access all things Festool from one App. With a clear bright blue and white menu—an interface that matches Festool tools—and large buttons for easy operation, the Work App is simple to navigate.  

The app is compatible with most iOS and Android devices. It is free for all users and may be downloaded via the Apple Store or Google Play Store.  QR
