Final Days for the NKBA Design Competition

by Kacey Larsen

The deadline is fast approaching for the 2014 National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) Design Competition. All entries for the competition, showcasing the best kitchen and bath projects, must be postmarked by August 30. The competition is an opportunity to showcase work to the industry at large, and prizes include over $50,000 in cash, national media attention and industry recognition at the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) 2014.

Enter projects in one of six categories: Small, Medium or Large Kitchen; Powder Room; or Small or Large Bathroom. A number of specialty awards will also be awarded, including Best Before & After, Budget-Friendly, Green and Universal Design. The Builder/Remodeler award will also be given in honor or 2012 NKBA Secretary Clay Lyon, CR.

Entries for the Design Competition must include completed entry forms, clear photos, a concise design statement, elevations and a floor plan to scale for each submitted project. Learn more about the competition and download the entry packet here
