FAIRFAX, Va.—Six home improvement pros will be honored as ‘Legends’ of the Home Improvement Industry at an event September 14 in Herndon, Va.—Chris Counahan of Leaf Home; Charlie Gindele, founder of Dial One and Renewal by Andersen of Orange County; Michael Hoy, CEO of Great Day Improvements; Paul Birner of Renewal by Andersen of St. Louis; Miles Wilkins, owner of The Board Store Home Improvements; and Dick Bartolomeo of Pro Materials Direct will receive the award posthumously. After an extensive nomination process, 18 industry leaders were nominated and appeared on the ballot for the Legends Award.
