Greenbuild residentially-focused sessions

Greenbuild
takes place next week in Chicago (Nov. 17-19) with (Ret.) General Colin
Powell kick starting the show as keynote speaker at 8:30 a.m. Organized
by the U.S. Green Building Council, there are handful of
residentially-focused events offered during the show.

The Residential Summit is a one-day conference dedicated to the
residential industry
. Sessions
include: the DNA of affordable LEED homes, water conservation, and
opportunities and challenges of greening a home.

Also available is the Master Series which includes:

  • Assessing, Tracking,
    Creating Value of Green Homes
    Thur., Nov. 18 at 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.
  • From New Construction to Retrofits
    Thur., Nov. 18 at 2 to 3:30 p.m.
  • Creating Demand: A Dialogue
    on the Green Consumer
    Thur., Nov. 18 at 4 to 4:30 p.m.

The twitter hashtag for the Residential Summit is: #RS2010. There is
also a networking event that evening.

A residential tour is scheduled for Fri., Nov. 19 at 1 to 6
p.m.: Sustainability in Chicago’s North Side Residential Neighborhoods.
