We are moving to a texting software that will allow us to communicate with our customers in a way they find more convenient while using software that will help us keep track of all the communication sent to our customers.
Rising costs for labor and building materials along with higher inflation on everything else is forcing remodelers and home pros to raise prices dramatically. Tell us about the most effective ways you are passing along these rising prices to your clients?:
Last year, when we provided a quote we did let the customer know we could only honor it for a certain time period because the price of materials was changing so quickly.
Supply shortages have required you to ask clients to go back and pick another finish or building material. What are your tips for handing these product trade-off conversations?:
Last year, this was an issue and unfortunately no one knew when certain colors would return. We gave them the option of waiting or selecting a different color. Customers did understand and this hasn’t been an issue this year.
