Irpinia Kitchens Expands Operations

Richmond Hill, Ontario Irpinia Kitchens, the kitchen cabinet
manufacturer previously based in Concord, Ontario, is expanding
from its former 25,000-sq.-ft. plant into a factory more than
60,000 sq. ft. in size, corporate officials said.

The new facility was in full production by July, the company
said, adding that plans for future expansion include an addition
that will increase the size of the facility to 120,000 sq. ft.

According to company president Felice Marcantonio, the primary
objectives in Irpinia’s move were to increase productivity, provide
minimal delivery times, and allow Irpinia’s dealers to have
seamless communication with the factory.

“We feel this is the time for Irpinia to show high-end dealers a
unique, flexible and elegant production facility,” Marcantonio
said.

“We will now have a much larger space in which to further
control our quality. With our automated spray facilities, color
variation will be minimized and we will have more control over the
products we sell and be able to provide better service and
delivery. Space, automation and control will allow us to provide
all of our customers with the best valued product for their money,”
Marcantonio added.
