1. Demand for services is stronger than ever. Supply delays are widespread. Building product prices are rising. Please name the concrete steps you take to keep customers satisfied as timelines and prices are fluctuating?
The most important action we take is communicating with our clients every step of the way, letting them know as early as possible if we foresee any fluctuation in pricing or supply. We encourage our clients to make design choices early in the project timeline, allowing us to order ahead of time and secure pricing wherever we can. We’ve also been continuously researching new vendors to expand our pool of available resources.
2. A good remodeling or home improvement firm knows the limits of its capabilities to take on additional work. What do/would you communicate to clients when you cannot handle their job and must decline their inquiry?
When our services are not a good fit with a client’s needs, we use an efficient system to refer the client to other remodelers in their area. Our communication is helpful and direct, leaving open the possibility that the client might be a great fit at some point in the future.
3. During busy times like these, operational adjustments are needed in order to take on more work, often with the same level of staffing. What steps have you taken to ensure a quality experience despite the added workloads for your team?
Our design build process has been carefully planned to adapt to varying levels of work. We’ve also augmented our existing systems with new software that boosts our ability to track multiple projects and deadlines. Just as we emphasize communication with our clients to ensure a quality experience, we do the same with our team to keep everyone informed and inspired to meet deadlines with the highest levels of work standards and attention to detail.
