The COVID-19 pandemic changed homeowner interactions. What measures do you use to signal an extra level of care when working in or around a client’s home?
Mostly all of our work is conducted on the exterior of the home so other than the normal safeguards, we didn’t have many instances where we needed to use additional measures. We always order Porto Pottys for our crew so we don’t need to go inside the home to use the bathroom.
Seamless communication technology is now both necessary and expected. How have you used new technology platforms to promote better customer communication and satisfaction?
We provided the option to attend our Project Sales Presentation via Face time, Zoom or Telephone Call. If a customer didn’t feel comfortable meeting us for the initial measure call/ Estimate meeting, we would arrange to speak with the customer on the phone while our Sales professional was there to look at the project. We also followed all social distancing rules and used masks and carried hand sanitizer etc etc. We also conducted our meeting outside.
What was your message to clients with projects in progress in order to keep them happy and satisfied during the uncertainty of the stay-at-home period?
We let them know that we are following every measure to keep our employees healthy and safe and to keep them safe in return. If our customer didn’t feel comfortable continuing with their project until a later date… we assured them that would be fine. We Can come back and complete it later. If they wanted to continue with their project, we would continue and follow all rules and guidelines to keep them and our employees safe.
