The COVID-19 pandemic changed homeowner interactions. What measures do you use to signal an extra level of care when working in or around a client’s home?
We incorporated virtual design meetings on the front end and prepared our in house crews to wear PPP equipment while in the client’s home, made use of painter’s plastic along corridor’s and wiped down surfaces of walls and floors when the job was complete with disinfectant.
Seamless communication technology is now both necessary and expected. How have you used new technology platforms to promote better customer communication and satisfaction?
We incorporated Zoom as a platform to host virtual meetings, email has taken a stronger presence as well.
What was your message to clients with projects in progress in order to keep them happy and satisfied during the uncertainty of the stay-at-home period?
That we would take whatever measures they felt necessary to keep them comfortable, some projects were postponed if the client was at high risk for the virus.
