CHICAGO—Delayed since March 2020, TOP 500 LIVE returns to its fast-paced live format next month in New Orleans. Now in its fourth incarnation, the home improvement industry’s leading event for sales management, lead-generation and business leadership is set for Nov. 1-3 at the New Orleans Marriott.
Twenty-seven speakers, a combination of industry CEOs and expert consultants, will be live and in-person making presentations to an audience of home improvement company owners and managers from around the country.
Podcaster Jocko Willink will deliver the keynote address at 8 a.m. on Nov. 2. The former Navy Seal team leader is the No. 4 business podcaster in the United States. His “Jocko” podcast is followed by millions for its lessons in battlefield leadership that are directly transferrable to leadership in business. Willink is also author of several top-selling books on leadership, beginning with Extreme Ownership: How U.S. Navy Seals Lead and Win.
Due to the success of his leadership books, Willink launched a leadership training company called Echelon Front, which presently works with several home improvement organizations including fast-growing West Shore Home led by CEO B.J. Werzyn, who is set to take the stage after Willink on Nov. 2.
“What makes TOP 500 LIVE so compelling is its format,” said Patrick O’Toole, co-owner of SOLA Group Inc., which publishes Qualified Remodeler and the annual TOP 500 list of the nation’s largest remodelers and home improvement companies. “CEOs get just 20 minutes to unpack an important management concept that has led their success in home improvement. Audience members can ask questions when they appear on follow-up panels. Experts provide longer format explanations of emerging management concepts. All 27 speakers are packed into 10.5 hours of stage time over a day and a half.”
More than 400 owners and managers had registered for the event that was to be held last March. Those 400 have been given a right of first refusal on their seats for the event and the response has been strong. As a result, space is extremely limited this year. If you are among those who had been registered but had not re-confirmed your spot, please send an email to SOLA Group’s Heidi Riedl at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The event will be conducted in full compliance of local virus protocols that were put in place this summer by state and local authorities. To view the entire TOP 500 LIVE line-up and learn more about the conference generally, go to www.TOP500LIVE.com. QR
