K/BIS Turnout in Orlando Strong

Orlando, FL Attendance at the recent 2001 Kitchen/Bath Industry
Show (K/BIS), while not achieving the record breaking numbers of
last year, was still strong, show sponsors have
announced.

According to show co-sponsor Bill Communications/VNU, more than
36,000 kitchen and bath industry professionals attended K/BIS 2001,
a mere 2.2% decrease from last year’s record-breaking
attendance,
and a 1% decrease from the 1999 K/BIS, also in Orlando.

This year’s show, held at the Orange County Convention Center in
Orlando in April, saw an increase in exhibitors, with 718 companies
showcasing their wares across some 370,000 square feet of exhibit
space, up from 617 last year, according to show co-sponsor
NKBA.

Next year’s K/BIS is scheduled to take place April 5-7 at
Chicago’s McCormick Place.
