Kitchen Tune-Up Offers New Program

Richardson, Texas Kitchen Tune-Up, a leading home-improvement
franchise system, based here, has introduced a new Small Market
Franchise Program, the company has announced.

According to company founder and president David Haglund, the
program is designed to provide a lower-cost opportunity to those
interested in opening up a franchise or adding the Kitchen Tune-Up
services to their own business. This will enable potential
entrepreneurs in markets with fewer than 40,000 people the option
to operate a full- or part-time Kitchen Tune-Up business.

Haglund noted, “The program takes us back to one of the earliest
ideas we had [when] we thought our services might work as an add-on
to existing home service businesses.”

According to Haglund, the program will allow small-market
franchises to offer all of Kitchen Tune-Up’s home-improvement
services for a franchise fee of less than $10,000, plus startup
expenses for supplies.
