The COVID-19 pandemic changed homeowner interactions. What measures do you use to signal an extra level of care when working in or around a client’s home?
First, we implemented the recommended “social distancing” safety standards and provided personal protection gear for each crew member. As well as having employees that were capable working remotely.
Second, we spoke with customers, both current and ones yet to be scheduled, to determine their level of comfort regarding our crews’ arrival to replace their roofs. We explained to each customers the measures KLAM would be taking to follow the “social distancing” recommendations.
We continued to receive requests for estimates. While scheduling the estimate, customers were informed of COVID-19 changes that would be implemented during the estimate.
Seamless communication technology is now both necessary and expected. How have you used new technology platforms to promote better customer communication and satisfaction?
As we already use great communication platforms to collaborate and communicate, we did not employ any new technology platforms but continued to use mobile phones, email, and DocuSign as our best communication tools with our customers.
What was your message to clients with projects in progress in order to keep them happy and satisfied during the uncertainty of the stay-at-home period?
KLAM Construction has implemented the recommended “social distancing” standards; our people will respect these standards and do whatever is necessary to keep you and themselves safe while working at your home.
