QR: Your team was able to achieve high rates of customer satisfaction during the pandemic, a time of greater scrutiny because clients were at home more. There were also supply-chain delays. What measures did your firm take to maintain client satisfaction?
During Covid, we basically created construction site “bubbles” within our client’s homes to isolate the work areas from the living areas. Another safety precaution included creating external hand washing stations for our staff and subcontractors use. We utilized online scheduling access for our clients through CoConstruct, so the clients would know when there would be activity at their home. We made it a priority for our project coordinators to keep an open line of communication with our clients.
QR: Firms with happier employees have higher levels of customer satisfaction. What are the top ways you are able to keep your employees happy and satisfied?
The majority of our staff came from other industries. They are happy to be a part of a team in an industry that they have a passion for. Leo Lantz Construction takes pride in the level of craftsmanship and quality brought to every project. Our staff enjoys being part of creating such beauty for our clients. It is imperative to have consistent reviews with personnel to evaluate their well-being and needs on a personal level.

Some firms connect their “purpose” to a written mission statement. Do you operate a purpose-driven organization? And in what ways does your firm extend itself to outside causes.
