1. Demand for services is stronger than ever. Supply delays are widespread. Building product prices are rising. Please name the concrete steps you take to keep customers satisfied as timelines and prices are fluctuating?
Communicate weekly and keep owners aware of scheduling updates. We utilize BuilderTrend as a very helpful software to keep our customers up to date. Prepare owners at start of project with information on delays they may be subject to.
2. A good remodeling or home improvement firm knows the limits of its capabilities to take on additional work. What do/would you communicate to clients when you cannot handle their job and must decline their inquiry?
We are letting folks know our schedule and booking appointments months out. We are sharing other names of contractors if faster repairs can happen with competition
3. During busy times like these, operational adjustments are needed in order to take on more work, often with the same level of staffing. What steps have you taken to ensure a quality experience despite the added workloads for your team?
Communication is the key. As we are interviewing the client about their project we are letting them know what our schedule will be to start and complete their project. We continue the communication in the weeks and months ahead so the customer is always aware of where there project is scheduled.
