Have updated our CRM which allows us to add a milestone grid to the progress on each project. We have chosen a presentation software program which will allow us to add pictures and video.
Rising costs for labor and building materials along with higher inflation on everything else is forcing remodelers and home pros to raise prices dramatically. Tell us about the most effective ways you are passing along these rising prices to your clients?:
We are absorbing costs when we can but have limited control over increases in costs and are raising prices accordingly.
Supply shortages have required you to ask clients to go back and pick another finish or building material. What are your tips for handing these product trade-off conversations?:
That issue has come up once involving the color of a product. The client was fine with waiting until the color became available. If a color is not available and doesn’t fit our client’s timeframe, we can suggest other colors.
