A “gentlemen’s lounge” should incorporate all of the comforts that are reserved for the chosen few; an 8-seat, 2-level theater, a billiards and game room as well as an Old World ale bar. The media room features a multi-level seating area with eight motorized reclining theater chairs, decorative acoustical wall panels, an HD projector with a 120-in. screen and significant millwork. The billiards/game space offers dual-purpose seating for viewing of either a game of pool or the latest sporting event. Two LED TVs add to the experience. The ale bar features a 36-in. glass front refrigerator, and an under-counter wine cooler and ice maker. An integrated approach to blending the activity spaces avoids singular rooms, which in this builder’s experience tend to go unused.
