by bkrigbaum@solagroup.com

LAS VEGAS – Jan. 21, 2010 – Dr. David Crowe, NAHB chief economist, presented his outlook on the 2010 housing market to a packed room the day before the International Builders Show in Las Vegas. Crowe believes the worst is behind us, and a slow recovery lies ahead.

Using statistical data from 2009 and years past, Crowe predicted that housing prices will begin to climb ever so slightly, foreclosures will slow down and level off, and single-family starts will begin a slow climb to sustainable levels which will be reached in 2011.
