IDS Remodeling, Inc.
This home, built in 1902, has the fine craftsmanship typical of homes of the time, but a previous owner’s remodel was done poorly. No attention was made to maintain the originality of the structure. The only remaining original element was the main light fixture in the kitchen. The clients wanted to restore some of the originality along with creating a more open design, and a more functional kitchen. Through a collaborative design process, the clients’ living space was connected to the rest of the house and to their exterior space – all while keeping the historical style a primary focus. QR
