The homeowners wanted an outdoor space to enjoy with friends and family, especially during the height of the COVID shutdowns. They desired a structure that matched the design and colors of the home’s exterior and was large enough to include an outdoor kitchen and eating area, while offering protection from mosquitos. Special care was taken to protect or transplant all existing plants and trees. A metal roofed cedar structure was built on an exposed aggregate foundation. Cabinets, countertops, a refrigerator, grill and hood are housed inside the screened panels. Iron fencing and stone walkways were installed as well. QR
