National Remodeling Foundation Starts Hurricane Sandy Fund


The National Remodeling Foundation, as it did in response to 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina, has established a starter fund to rebuild homes along the East Coast devastated by Hurricane Sandy and is accepting donations of money and building materials to assist in the relief effort.

Individuals and organizations are already contributing to the relief fund, including Masonite Doors, which has committed to supplying interior and exterior doors for the rebuilding project.

One hundred percent of contributions to the NRF will go toward restoring damaged homes and/or community buildings, the foundation says. Donors are welcome to identify other projects in need of resources.

Individuals and organizations may contribute to the NRF’s Hurricane Sandy Relief Fund by sending checks to the National Remodeling Foundation with “Hurricane Relief” in the memo line. Mail donations to:
