Natural materials unite decor, architecture

by Kacey Larsen

This Timnath, Colo., home combines Texan decorative elements with Colorado architecture. A “great hall” concept combines the main living areas with the kitchen, with access to the dining and outdoor entertaining space nestled nearby. The use of natural elements, like stone and timber, is consistent throughout the home and is especially apparent in the design of the fireplaces within the home’s office, great hall and dining area.

Project location: Timnath, Colo.

Contractor: Rentfrow Designs, LLC., Fort Collins, Colo.
