Business technology and business software are offering new ways for remodelers and home improvement professionals to improve client experience and customer satisfaction. In what ways are you using software or technology to improve client experience?:
We use a 3D CAD program to draw the customers vision. We match the house as accurate as possible and draw the project they are looking to purchase. We send these with the quote so they can see the vision and the price. This makes a huge difference for our customers.
Rising costs for labor and building materials along with higher inflation on everything else is forcing remodelers and home pros to raise prices dramatically. Tell us about the most effective ways you are passing along these rising prices to your clients?:
We are very open and upfront about rising prices from the beginning. We don’t want anyone to be blindsided by increasing prices and remain transparent about them.
Supply shortages have required you to ask clients to go back and pick another finish or building material. What are your tips for handing these product trade-off conversations?:
If someone’s first pick is no longer available or there is a long wait before we could receive it we like to give them a few options. We will try to get as close to the first pick regarding color and price range if they don’t want to wait. But of course, waiting is always an option too.
