New BS program in Sustainable Materials

by bkrigbaum@solagroup.com

Oregon State University
announced this week that it is offering a bachelor of science degree
program in renewable materials. There’s no doubt that renewable
materials is a hot topic in the construction world. Some might even
remember President Obama promising the growth of green jobs. So maybe
this degree program is hitting the market at the right time.

The degree program will focus on science, technology and business
skills, according to the press release. Two focuses will be available:
management/marketing focus, and science/engineering focus.
