NKBA Endorses Six Additional College
Courses 

Hackettstown, NJ The National Kitchen & Bath Association has
approved six new endorsed colleges for the year 2000, the trade
association announced.

Added to the NKBA’s Endorsed College Program were the following
colleges: Arapahoe Community College, Littleton, CO; Design
Institute, Las Vegas, NV; Indian River Community College, Fort
Pierce, FL; Lakeland College, Alberta, Canada; Learning Tree
University, Chatsworth, CA, and the University of North Alabama,
Florence, AL.

The six additions brings the number of NKBA-endorsed colleges to
23, according to the Hackettstown, NJ-based trade association.

“NKBA’s Endorsed College Program meets the needs of consumers
and the kitchen and bath industry by educating and training these
future professionals,” said Galen Jergenson, CKE, CBE, chairman of
the Endorsed College Program.

“It also brings value to the participating colleges and
universities, the students they train, and the industry these
graduates are preparing to enter,” Jergenson said.
