One Week to Enter AIA Award Programs

There is one week left for entries of two award programs. Submissions
to the American Institute of Architects 2011 Building Information
Modeling award program are due by 5 p.m. EST, Jan. 10, 2011. Entries
for AIA’s Small Project awards are due entries are due by 5
p.m. EST, Jan. 11, 2011.

Five categories are
available in the BIM awards program: BIM Excellence; Delivery Process
Innovation;
Outstanding Sustainable Design; Academic Program / Curriculum
Development; and, Exemplary use of BIM in a Small Firm. Visit AIA’s
website to enter the awards program.

Three categories are available in the Small Project awards program:
Small Project Objects; Small Project Structures; and, Self-Sustaining
Design. AIA’s goal with the Small Projects awards program is to
showcase the value of design and the value architects bring to all
levels of projects. Visit AIA’s

Winners will be recognized at the 2011 AIA National Convention, held in
New Orleans in May.
