QR: Your team was able to achieve high rates of customer satisfaction during the pandemic, a time of greater scrutiny because clients were at home more. There were also supply-chain delays. What measures did your firm take to maintain client satisfaction?

We consistently prioritize the proactive ordering of materials well ahead of schedule, ensuring smooth operations when the time comes. Additionally, with clients working from home, we discovered an enhanced accessibility that allowed for prompt clarification of any inquiries that might arise. Our lead carpenters engaged in daily conversations with our clients on most projects, expediting the resolution of potential questions and fostering a strong sense of inclusion among our valued clients, who truly felt like integral members of our team.

QR: Firms with happier employees have higher levels of customer satisfaction. What are the top ways you are able to keep your employees happy and satisfied?

We prioritize flexibility when it comes to our employees’ schedules and remote work arrangements. Some of our office staff members enjoy exploring different locations, and we provide them with the opportunity to work remotely. Moreover, we have field employees who pursue personal projects, such as writing novels, alongside their work responsibilities. To support their creative endeavors, we grant them the freedom to work fewer than 40 hours per week, allowing them to dedicate three days a week to their writing pursuits. This approach fosters a harmonious work-life balance and empowers our employees to pursue their passions.
